Kevin
was born in Malaysia. He was raised in a family with the philosophy that
higher education and hard work pay off, eventually, over time if one is
able to spot the opportunity.
After obtaining his degree in engineering in the UK, and masters in
Christchurch New Zealand, Kevin was offered a job as an engineer at a
major consultancy in New Zealand. He thought he was ‘sorted’ for the
rest of his life.
However with time, his 40 hour weeks became 60 hour weeks, some times it
even clocked up to 70 hour weeks. Kevin realized he was working more
hours for lesser pay, and with the rising cost of living, he decided
that something had to change.
For Kevin, opportunity knocked at the right time! He was approached by a
colleague of his about the USANA opportunity. Having been impressed with
the company’s credibility and product quality, and after doing his due
diligence, Kevin got started in his USANA business a few weeks later.
Although having no prior experience in the business world, he was very
motivated to share the USANA business opportunity with his friends and
family. Knowing that the business is designed to pay if one works it
like a business rather than a hobby, he was willing to go the extra mile
to learn from his supportive business mentors, especially several of his
upline, including Andy Marshall, Ewa Glowacka and Tomek Glowacki, and
his ex-colleague / and now business partner, Fahreen Aziz.
In April 2007, Kevin reached Silver after just five months since he
began his business. A month later, with the help and guidance of further
members of his upline, Chris Folland and Fiona Jamieson-Folland, Kevin
reached STI Team Leader status.
Being grateful for his success, although eager to progress further,
Kevin finds that ‘in order for the business to grow, you have to grow’.
It’s for this reason that he makes it a priority to attend all the
weekly trainings and events as well as reading personal development
books, and listening to audio CDs. He finds this helps him to further
develop himself as a more competent network marketer.
In February and March 2008, Kevin decided to head back to Malaysia to
help his mother, who had been in the business for 8 months already, to
build her team. For Kevin, it was not easy at first handling all the
questions and objections that came forward from all the interested
people he spoke to! However, armed with the correct attitude and the
support of his family he was able to begin building a team by the time
he left to return to Auckland.
Kevin is passionate about Dr Wentz’s vision of True Health worldwide;
and, coupled with the potential of True Wealth via the USANA leveraged
business model, Kevin is determined to create the future of residual
income for himself, and to help his family & friends to do the same.
