Stan & Jan Bolton

Stan & Jan Bolton were introduced to USANA by their eldest son and his wife in February 2003.  Their reaction was certainly less than enthusiastic when they first learned about the company….”I told Chris in no uncertain terms I didn’t want to listen if it was network marketing,” smiles Jan as she recalls the first few times her son tried to talk to her about USANA.  “But the products were having a great effect on maintaining our health*, so we graciously agreed to keep using those!” Stan laughs.

After using the products for several months, Stan attended a presentation given by Four Star Diamond Director Jeremy Stansfield and Diamond Director Brian Douglas, “it suddenly made sense.  Being able to work in teams and the fairness of the compensation strategy – combined with unique products – I realised I’d better get started with a business.”  That was in March 2004, and this couple have never looked back.

Racing through to the rank of Gold Director in just 7 months, whilst maintaining their full time jobs, this couple have been amazed at how straight forward and how much fun their progress has been. (Disclaimer)

“We talk to people about our own experience and just how outstanding USANA really is. We work hard with our team, we give people enough information to make up their minds and we let them make their own decisions – it’s very simple!” says Stan, “The greatest thing about our journey with USANA has been seeing faces light up, leaders emerge in the team as they achieve their own goals and dreams”.

Already this couple have shared many adventures together during the 33 years they’ve been married.  Meeting in Europe through their passion for classical music (both were on post graduate study scholarships, Jan -  piano, Stan - violin),  they married in Jan’s home country Canada, before raising their four children in New Zealand.

“Until this year I had honestly given up on my dreams,” admits Jan, “I’d assumed I’d need to work hard as a music teacher for the rest of my life and that Stan would work through til his late 60’s as a surveyor in Local Government.  USANA has given us our dreams back and we’re forever grateful.”  (Disclaimer)

This couple are planning for Jan to drastically cut her teaching and for Stan to leave the rat-race in 2005.  They’ll be spending more time on their new 35 foot yacht.  “We’re going to do lots of trainings and fun outings on it with the team,” laughs Stan, “this really is a business you can work from anywhere!” (Disclaimer)

“For us this is about time and financial freedom,” Jan says with a grin, “It’s just such a thrill to work closely with our family.  We’ve made many wonderful friends through USANA.  The future is very exciting.”
