RaeLynn Rushton

Since November 2003, RaeLynn has watched in amazement as the opportunities provided by USANA have literally changed her life and afforded her the time freedom and financial means to pursue her life goals.

A single mother of two boys, RaeLynn worked for a grocery store chain for 15 years. Her many positions with the company included Pharmacy Technician.

“I was working long, hard hours,” RaeLynn says. “And I was only seeing ill people that kept coming in for that new prescription, you know, the one that would make the difference in improving their health.”

She left her job in 1996 to pursue her own mortgage business, believing that self-employment would allow her to reach her life goals, which included being home more with her children, having financial security, and starting a ranch for children.

She soon learned that starting her own business meant even longer hours as she tried to keep up with the demands of her clients. RaeLynn dreaded the thought of going back to work for a large corporation again. She longed for a solution that would give her the freedom and prosperity that she wanted.

She went back to work for another large corporation doing community relations, which she loved. RaeLynn created her position where she was able to put together projects that gave back to the various communities in her hometown.

“Even though I enjoyed what I was doing, I was tired of working so many hours for someone else in order to make them money and help their company grow,” RaeLynn says. “I knew I had what it took to do this for myself. I just had to find the right company with integrity, and a fair and lucrative compensation plan.”

While looking in the classifieds for a puppy, RaeLynn came across an advertisement that sounded to good to be true. “For two weeks I kept thinking about this ad and then I finally called,” RaeLynn says. “I would set appointments to meet with the people who ran the ad, and then cancel due to my busy schedule and doubt.”

Finally, RaeLynn met with two gentlemen and learned about the opportunities offered by USANA. Immediately, she liked what she heard.

RaeLynn started using USANA products for the next year. However, due to her commitment to her corporate job, she didn’t jump into the business side of USANA right away.

Then, in 2004, RaeLynn’s son was injured in a motorcycle accident and needed around-the-clock care for three months. As she stayed home to care for him, RaeLynn’s employer – with whom she thought her job was secure – did away with her position. She was in debt, unemployed and very concerned about her and her sons’ futures – until a phone call came.

“I received a call from one of the men that I met with at USANA a year previous,” RaeLynn recalls. “We had spoken a few times throughout the year. He had wanted to work with me to build my business, but I did not have the time. He said he understood the situation that I was in and he wanted to help me build a successful business now, so that I did not have to ever go back to work for anyone else – and he did just that!”

Through sharing USANA, RaeLynn has found the freedom to spend quality time with family and friends. She also has the financial means to pursue her dreams.

“My mother and I have dreamed of opening a ranch for kids,” she says. “We want a place where kids can come and play and feel safe ~ a place where they could do things that kids do, like learning to ride a bike, fish, dance, swim, ride a horse, experience animals, and so much more. We want to help underprivileged children realize that they make a difference in this world and that they are not alone. We will teach them how to turn traumatic experiences into positive life-learning skills.”

With the help of USANA, RaeLynn now has the time freedom, financial security and support from her USANA family to make her dreams a reality. In 2004, she created Shining Star Ranch. RaeLynn says, “While the ranch is still a work in progress, it is a dream that is becoming a reality, thanks to USANA!

“USANA has made such a difference in my life and the lives of those I love,” she says. “I want to share it with everyone I possibly can!”
