When Ben got a phone call from Kath Allen about an opportunity she wanted to share with him it couldn’t have come at more appropriate time. Ben explains “I’d been previously approached by Mike Allen, however at the time I’d just started a new job and I wasn’t interested in seeing the presentation. When Mike asked Kath to phone me a year later I wasn’t 100% happy with my financial situation and was certainly open to looking at other options,” Previously Ben had trained as a registered nurse and was currently employed full time as a Long Haul Flight Attendant.

What really impressed Ben when he first saw USANA was that both the company and products had a lot of credibility and third party endorsements. “I couldn’t fault the company, the products or the compensation plan.” says Ben. “The only problem I had was myself, I had no previous business experience and was concerned that I didn’t have enough time and I was a bit nervous.”

Working full time as flight crew meant Ben was only scheduled 10 days off in a month. In working closely with his mentors Ben found that he could work USANA around his very demanding flight schedule. “The support I received receive has been phenomenal, I’ve learnt so much and there’s no other business that I’ve come across where there’s so much flexibility and a team of people that are willing to support you to succeed.” Through USANA compensation plan Ben discovered the power of time leveraging and in working closely with his team duplicating what he had learnt he began to see his business experience expediential growth.

Ben admits that like anything the path to success can be a bit bumpy to begin with. What he found helped him was to always have a positive outlook, be teachable, attend events, following the BDS and working closely with your sponsor and your team. “I’d never set personal goals before but when I began to do so it’s such a satisfying feeling to go out and accomplish not only your goals but also in helping your team to accomplish their goals as well – this way it’s a win/win situation for everyone!”

Ben started his USANA business at the age of 24, and 12 months later he became a Gold Director. Ben has seen some big changes in his life; he now works his USANA business full time and is employed as Flight Crew part time. “My journey with USANA has been one of exhilarating personal development” Ben says, “I’ve had so much fun working with my fantastic team and I’ll be forever grateful for being introduced to USANA and to the vision of Dr Myron Wentz.
