Karen
never considered anything like “network marketing” to supplement the
family income. But when her belief of a lifetime career with a
stable job was broken, she looked seriously at starting a business
with USANA. The thought of actually owning her own business, and
being in control of her own life made a lot of sense.
Karen joined another network marketing company while in college to
enable her to earn a little extra money, and to get the products at a
lower cost. Because of that experience, she saw right

Karen says, “I have a purpose and a direction with this business.

positive difference in the lives of many. Each of us has been
blessed with a gift, and I’m showing others how they can manage their
health life long. The best part is that I no longer work in
the corporate world for someone else, my children are not in daycare,

Karen
Masters-Akers believed a college education and hard work provided a
lifetime career with a stable income. She worked hard to pay for
her college, achieved her dream of a higher education, and went to work
in the computer industry as a systems analyst/computer programmer.
Her dream came up short when she was a victim of downsizing. She
then became a consultant in the same industry, and the travel, work
hours, and month-to-month contracting began to take its toll on the
family.
