Jennifer Lim already knew that life had something more to offer than working for somebody else for 45 years in a traditional job. Working long hours in the IT industry made her realize that if she was going to escape the rat race, she had to look outside the square. "I was always on the lookout for something else… I didn't know what exactly," says Jen, "I was already working in the corporate world and investing in real estate when I came across USANA®".

While building a solid property portfolio Jen met a young entrepreneurial couple. "I was intrigued that they were property investors who were also building a USANA business and not working in their prior successful professions. I remember thinking 'But that's network marketing isn't it? How are they making it work? I had looked at so many other network marketing companies and made a promise to myself that I would never get involved - yet within 7 months not only had I started a USANA business, I had also become a Gold Director and I was able to leave my day job in the IT industry to focus on my USANA business and property investment portfolio." Only 12 months after reaching Gold Director, Jen became a Ruby Director and then Emerald Director just 9 months after that.

Today Jen feels happy that giving up a little bit of time each week to work smarter paid off, because she was able to leave the corporate world at 25years old and has not looked back. "It was the gentle and sincere approach of Chris & Helen who introduced me that made me realize this company was actually really incredible. I've adopted their approach and duplicated that throughout my business" says Jen. "If I hadn't been open-minded enough to look at the information on this business, I'd probably still be working as an employee for a boss, chasing the pay rises," says Jen.

"Like any business, it's not easy, but it is incredibly simple. I've really enjoyed the network of friends I've made during my time in this business – people of various skills and backgrounds that I've built fantastic friendships with," says Jen.
Jen's success has grown from her love of helping people improve their health, as well as their financial health…combined with the support received from her successful mentors and the wider team. "I've achieved so many things in the last 7 years that were just dreamy ideas (including representing New Zealand at the World Salsa Championships; and also breaking a Guiness Book of World Record) but the best of all is that I get to wake up every morning without an alarm clock!"
