Jeff was determined never to work for someone else ever again. “I had sold a Legal exhibit business and was in the process of working on another business project when a long time friend, Seth Kuehn, called and said he wanted to “stop by to visit and share something with me”. Jeff say’s, “ I figured we were going to ‘catch up’ on current events when Seth pulled out what I thought was a new calendar from the non-profit food bank he had started some years back. After all, it was October, and we are heading into a new year”. Well, this calendar turned out to be a presentation flip chart.
“Seth first began to share how a mutual friend of ours whom I hadn’t seen in years, was interested in finding a way to maintain her health and explained how USANA’s products had literally changed her life. Here we were, two grown men with tears in our eyes... I already knew at this point that I wanted to be a part of whatever this company was about and was already compiling a mental list of people I wanted to get this information to.”
He continued to explain to me the ‘USANA Difference’ and the company’s unique business marketing concept of referring this information as well as how this company has had explosive growth just from word of mouth marketing.
I knew that the direct selling/network marketing industry was the way I was going to create the kind of business that I desired. I was no stranger to the direct selling industry. Having been in and out of many network marketing companies over the previous 25 years, I just knew that somehow I would find a company with products and services that were right for me. A company with core values I have lived by most of my life. The beauty of it is… This company found me!”
That was almost five years ago now and I have never looked back. For the first time in my life I can say that I have a business I am absolutely proud of. I am equally excited and proud to say that all four of our children are building successful USANA businesses today. ‘Where In the world could you have a business with these kinds of possibilities’?
