Brian and Jennifer Douglas had been climbing the corporate ladder of a large national retail company for nearly eight years when they were contacted about USANA. At first, they were extremely close-minded and too stubborn to look at the opportunity. However, their sponsor was persistent and patient. After six months of observing his success, they decided USANA was something they had better look at seriously. Shortly after they got involved, Brian and Jennifer's life changed dramatically. When they first began, Brian worked nearly 80 hours a week on salary as a District Manager in charge of 15 retail auto parts stores. Jennifer was a full-time college student, worked 50 hours per week in her job as an Assistant Manager in a retail store, and was planning their wedding.  It would have been easy for them to make the excuse of not having enough time to start a part-time business. But they say that was exactly the reason that they started their Independent USANA business. Brian said, “We realized that in order for us to change what we were getting, we had to change what we were doing.”  Since they only had about ten hours per week to build their business, they knew that it was essential to use their time wisely. They focused on being productive and consistent with their efforts and it paid off with rapid success.

Even on a limited part-time basis, the Douglas’ were able to achieve commission checks of $2,000 per week (6-figure annual earnings) within eight months!  Brian explains, “We were able to achieve this six-figure income on a part-time basis because of the power of leveraged income!  (Disclaimer)   We never learned anything about leveraged income in school or our old jobs.”

This was a huge turning point in their lives.  Since they had replaced their full-time job incomes, they decided to fire their bosses and said good-bye to the corporate world!   The Douglas’ have worked full-time in their USANA business ever since and are now members of the prestigious USANA Million Dollar Club. They enjoy outdoor activities, custom and luxury automobiles, exotic vacations, and several weeks per year traveling in their motor home or relaxing on their 70-foot houseboat on Lake Powell with their family and friends. They just finished designing and building their dream home. A three level, 6000 SF home plus 2700 SF of garage for the toys and 2350 SF of covered rear deck and patio that overlook the entire valley of Salt Lake City, Utah. “Living in southern California with our old jobs, we could only afford to rent an 1100 SF house that was built in the 1950’s.
