Chris is experienced in carrying multiple jobs since the age
of 16. He continued to work an average of 40 to 60 hours per
week through college, of which he obtained a Bachelors of
Management with a focus in International Business. Chris was
raised in a household of entrepreneurs that had tried different
ventures, but all ended up leading to a dead end. Tarah also
worked her way through college at a Big 12 School in Texas and
obtained a degree in Public Relations. She graduated and then
went on to work for two large companies in the marketing/sales
field for the next four years.
Chris’s first experience with network marketing came to a close
after a year, with little to no success. He learned that you
will not succeed, regardless of what the company has to offer if
you do not have the necessary training and support. While
pursuing his Masters, and while working for one of the largest
insurance companies in the world, he skeptically agreed to look
at Network Marketing one more time. Fortunately for him, the
opportunity was USANA. Chris was blown away by Dr. Wentz, USANA,
and the binary compensation plan. Chris always wanted to impact
as many lives as possible, and this is the fastest way possible
to make that a reality!
Chris learned very early with sports and his job to work very
hard on himself to achieve success, and he now incorporates
these qualities into his USANA business. Chris has finally found
that his success is directly correlated with his efforts to
effectively improve the lives of as many people he can through
better health and personal growth. He received that support from
his mentor, and is a big believer in duplication and paying it
forward. Chris believes and will repeatedly tell you,
“Excellence is the
result of caring more than others think is
wise; risking more than others think is safe. Dreaming more than
others think is practical and expecting more than others think
is possible.”

After attending the USANA International Convention,
Chris realized that the company truly was what everyone told
him. He then attended STI Live a few months later, and was
immersed in the most powerful training he had ever seen in his
life. Within the next year his business more then quintupled.
Now all of his associates understand the value of these events.
Tarah was
a completely different story. She was a sceptic for the
first couple of years. She understood the importance of the
wonderful products USANA had to offer, but just supported
Chris and didn't work the business. Then a light bulb went
off after a wonder STI event in San Antonio in January 2008
and Tarah saw the vision! She then wanted nothing else but
to leave her job and work full time from home.
Fortunately for Chris, he attended every event, read every
book he could get his hands on, and listened to every audio
he could put in his car. This dedication to personal growth
has proven to be beneficial for his team and their ongoing
success. At the 2006 USANA International Convention, Chris
was 1 of 10 people worldwide to receive the prestigious
Teamwork Award! At the 2007 USANA International Convention,
Chris and Tarah were recognized as new members of the
prestigious Growth 100!
After a large, beautiful Christmas wedding on the
romantic San Antonio Riverwalk in December 2007, Chris and
Tarah were on a mission to do whatever possible to get her
out of her "corporate job". As of April 2008, The Harl's
achieved that goal and they are now both stay at home
parents before the thought of kids!!! Together they
understand that time and money spent today, will bring time
and money in the future.
